Growing business, glowing collabs

Recently, Bougie had three fun opportunities to create custom orders with local retailers. Like all the best projects, these occasions happened serendipitously - a lucky result of exploring the custom order space and finding wonderful partners willing to experiment. The result was unique, customer-pleasing products! Below is a little bit more about these partnerships.

Bougie x Marnin Saylor:

Bougie worked with the owners of the whimsically adorable shop Marnin Saylor, a plush toy maker located on the lower level of the Pike Place Market, to create a custom scent to complement their super cute Cinnamon Bun pastry pet. A blend of cinnamon and chai, both small and large versions of this limited edition candle sold out twice in a matter of days. We’re excited to work with them again to launch new, amazing products and scents – our spring collab will be coming soon!

Bougie x Brocante Beach House:

We had a fabulous time working with the owner of the delightfully charming vintage and housewares shop, Brocante Beach House, located in the heart of the West Seattle Junction. We were tasked with reverse-engineering a discontinued candle with notes of sandalwood, cypress, and coconut. Never daunted by a challenge, we took a few tries to nail a scent that was just right and ended up creating an amazing blend that the owner happily reports Brocante customers love.

Bougie x Truffles & More:

Another fun collaboration was working with the chocolatier of Ballard’s confection shop, Truffles & More. Their chocolate cake is seriously one of the best! The owner originally reached out to ask if we made a chocolate candle that she could burn for ambiance in her shop, so we created Bon Bon and made it available for sale in-store. A blend of cocoa and coconut, this milk chocolate-scented beauty was such a hit, we added it to our regular product line.

These collaborations continue to spark so much creative joy for us, and we want to continue to make this magic happen, so we’ve put together a package with some very reasonable pricing, a wealth of options for custom-blended scents and vessels, and lightning-fast production time. Interested in how to collab with us? We’d love to chat. Find out more here. We can’t wait to create with you!
